In addition to stellar wine, John Almansa farms sheep, keeps bees and makes olive oil, honey. All harvesting is done by hand, and once complete, the sheep are free to roam the vines. He creates atypically fresh wines from his Mediterranean vines, that still bristle with those garrigue herbs.
