The historic three-hectare cru of Basarin is located on the border between the communes of Neive and Treiso. The fermentation and the maceration on the skins are long and only native yeasts are used. Malolactic fermentation and aging occurs in French barrels, ten percent of which barrels are new. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
