This savory red is made from vines aging an average of 50 yrs all planted in the chalky-clay and limestone scree (shattered rocks) of the surrounding mountains, the Dentelles de Montmirail. Hand-harvested, whole-cluster, concrete fermented, red fruit flavors garrigue (coastal scrub) and peppery notes. A perfect compliment to grilled meats and rich stews.
