Perhaps more than any of his peers, Fichet is trying to find the very soul of Meursault’s terroirs. Based on 3 beautifully situated parcels on the southern slopes of the village, the stoniness is magnified by a low water table, forcing the vines’ roots deep underground. The wines are delicious and pure, with the sense of terroir that makes them worth thinking about and the fruit that makes us want just to drink them up!
