This field blend of nearly extinct white grapes comes from 90+ year old vines on the steep rocky slopes of the Douro Valley. Tended by subsistence farmers who've maintained these fields for generations, the grapes are being made into unique expressions of place by the young Ricardo Sarrazola. It has a depth of flavor like a Loire or Rhone wine from France balanced with acidity.
