A co-fermentation of Merlot and Viognier that was barrel aged for 19 months. The aging imparts a maturity to the wine that is uncommon to rosé ; it imparts a deeper amber hue as well as provides extra grippy texture and aromatic complexity. This is a pink worth pontificating over, and by recommendation of the winemaker, bound to get better with even further age - up to 2027.
