‘Kottabos’, refers to a Greek drinking game that involves throwing the lees from unfiltered wines at targets. It combines grenache and syrah from the granitic soils of the Skilpadvlei Vineyard. The grapes were fermented separately, all whole-cluster; the grenache in French puncheons, the syrah in concrete. Floral and smooth, packed with raspberry and plum! Yum!
