Winemaker Johannes Gunderloch, named this cuvée after his late, Harley-riding father, Fritz. A special, off-dry riesling grows in a very small part of the Rheinhessen called Roter Hang that translates to red hill due to the red slate soils. The soil, the closeness to the river, great sun exposure and the steepness of the vineyards create an amazing value riesling!
