The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Les Chalumaux 1er Cru comes from the oldest vines on the estate, planted in 1954. This has real complexity on the nose with intense malic fruit, fine minerality and light sea spray. This is a very elegant, suave Puligny that gentle unfolds on the finish, hints of blackcurrant leaf and nettle on the aftertaste. Excellent!
