Ownership of the land goes back to the 17th century, turning into vineyards in 1965. Gaglioppo, a relatively thick-skinned grape known for producing rustic and savory wines, is indigenous to Southern Italy. Concentrated and wild in its aromatics, red and black fruit dominates the nose. Light-weight, easy with very fine tannins. Perfect with grilled meats or a hearty salad.
