The Syrah is grown on eastern facing vines that are directly exposed to the cool coastal influence of the Monterey Bay. These vines deal with an onslaught of wind, fog and rain. Luckily the vines are resilient and the patient winemaker can allow the fruit to ripen revealing an exquisite display of dark fruit, sweet tobacco and forest floor.
