The 2017 Saumur Blanc is an absolute delight. Loaded with flavors of baked apples, citrus zest, and crushed rocks. There's an incredible concentration without any weight. The clarity of fruit is exemplary, with apple and citrus joining florals. It is savory, restrained and impeccably balanced. This is a truly brilliant, hard-to-find Grand Cru-esque expression of Chenin Blanc!
