Grown in the chalky, clay limestone soils near the Loire Valley village of Montreuil-Bellay, not far from Saumur, the resulting wine is a clean bouquet marked by delicate brioche aromas followed by hints of pears and peaches with fresh citrus and stone fruit flavors on the palette. Finishes with a hazelnut-inflected gingerbread.
