Carcaghjolu Neru, a varietal native to Sardinia, is a unique grape. Despite its ability to thrive in Mediterranean climates and its strong yields, there are only 23 hectares planted in the world. "Neru" refers to the grape's deep, dark color that can surprise the drinker as the wines are richly colored yet light-bodied and bursting with red fruit and nice salinity.
