Georgia is widely considered to be the cradle of winemaking dating back 8,000 years. This orange wine spends 6-months on the skins in large clay pots buried in the ground called "qveri." Georgian wine tends to be "interesting" when compared to more heralded wine regions, but this "beginners wine" is super delicious with peaches, concentrated apricots and orange zest.
