Although there remains some youthful greenness, the bouquet of this full-bodied wine suggests ripe fruit. Loads of berry fruit, white pepper and vanilla with subtle hints of woody wild herbs. Smoke and spice develop as the glass stands. Barrel matured in French & American oak for 16 months.
