"True Small Batch" is a showcase for three specially commissioned microblends of three barrels of Pinhook's custom mash bill. Nose of brown sugar, rye seeds and rye spice, dark plum, cherry and a hint of orange citrus; caramel, light oak, subtle leather and cinnamon. Palate is syrupy with flavors of caramel, cherry, and sweet oak. Sweetness and fruit linger on the finish, but are overshadowed by building spice with a bit of oak char.
