Mathieu Vallée took over Château Yvonne in 2007 continuing the tradition of one of the finest chateaus in Saumur. Fifteen-50 year old vines from a single vineyard in Parnay with a high proportion of sandy soil that yields a soft “bistro style” red wine to be enjoyed right away. Fresh and light-bodied, but with rich concentration. Perfect accompaniment to a winter roast!
