Pinhook produces vintage whiskeys that are naturally different from year to year, unlike other Kentucky producers who try to cover the annual variations by blending out those distinctions. This vintage is overproof but a bit more tempered than previous years at 98 proof. It is well polished and smooth, with a touch of spicy character and toasty butterscotch notes.
