Quite a step up from Truchetet's Cotes de Nuits Village, coming from a village terroir on the border of Premeaux and Nuits. Needs some time in the glass to unfold and expands nicely with some air. It has wonderful balance and vivacious fruit. Intense bramble and blackberry fruits, very full and concentrated, with a tightly woven tannic core.
