This wine is a very pure and bright expression of Carignane. These dry farmed vines were planted in 1870 and continue to produce small quantities of amazingly concentrated fruit. It is fermented with native yeasts and spends 10 months in neutral French oak barrels before going to bottle unfiltered. It is bright, spicy and rustic, a wonderful wine for the table.
