A discreet application of wood sets off an earthy array of red and dark currant scents that are trimmed in plenty of floral and soft earth elements. The sleek, vibrant and utterly delicious medium weight flavors exhibit good minerality on the balanced, refreshing and lingering finish that is firm if not quite as structured as the Longeroies. This overtly stony effort is also very good and a wine that should amply reward a decade plus of cellaring.
