This wine is sourced from the lower areas of the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. Because these terroirs are less exposed to the powerful winds that blow throughout the region, the grapes' maturation is not slowed down and the fruit is much better preserved. 60% of the wine was aged for 14 months in used, medium-heated, French oak from the Allier and Vosges forests
