On a high, windswept granitic plateau near Monte Grossu (east of Calvi) known as E Prove, Michel Raoust vinifies some of the best wines from Corsica at low prices. Extreme diurnal temperature variation along with the influence of wind seems to create pronounced phenolics and sprightly acid retention. Supple, silken in texture, buoyant and infectiously bright, this brims with fresh strawberry and red raspberry, infused with rose hip, mint and red licorice.
