Strasser Weinberge means the ‘vineyards’ in ‘Strass’, the fruit for this wine is selected from three of Martin’s vineyards in the village. Grüner is typically a variety that does not see any wood in its aging and/or fermentation, and here Martin adds just a ‘whisper’ with the percentage he ages in old used barrels to soften a touch Grüner’s incredibly natural acidity.
