The palate contains that telltale, medicinal, maritime campfire smoke and salty richness Laphroaig is known for, proudly holding court above all else. A couple of drops of water reveal dried dates, figs, apricot, toffee, cocoa and spiced accents of ginger, cardamom, fennel, clove, cinnamon and cedar. A very generous finish.
