We were very excited to discover that one of our favorite producers for "off the beaten path" varietals in Piedmont made a sparkling wine. Grignolino usually makes for a wonderfully light and easy drinking red, but this dry sparkling rose bottling is loads of fun! Fresh watermelon, cherry blossoms and subtle hints of fennel seed make for a unique, lighter bodied bubbly.
