Dried cranberries and strawberries, fresh Bing cherries, dried tobacco leaf, and hints of leather, wet earth, violet, and smoke. Ample acidity, but tannins have begun to mellow and integrate into the wine. Grown on sandy hillsides and an average vine age of 80 years. Farmed with no herbicide or insecticide, aged in old foudres for 3-18 months depending on the year, then transferred to stainless steel tanks.
