Birichino was established by Alex Krause and John Locke, two Bonny Doon veterans. Emphasizing old vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. The Pet-nat is from the Besson Vineyard in Monterey, grown from 25 year-old vines. Still Malvasia is enhanced by a small addition of still-fermenting Muscat Canelli. Bright, fresh and floral with playful texture and subtle depth.
