A classic Washington State Merlot, from the black plum, roasted earth, and layers of black fruit, on to the velvety palate. The aromas are bright, with notes of herb, tire rubber and red currant. The oak influence is dialed back, and the fruit flavors are lighter in style, direct and pure, going down easy with blue-fruit flavors on the finish. This is a pleasant, easy drinker.
