This single vineyard called Des Couvertes sits next to the Premier Cru Vaulorent, on the north-facing back side of the Grand Cru hill. It has excellent precision of crisp yellow apples and Asian pears accompanied by savory spices. There’s loads of lift on the back palate, making this a terrific food wine.
