Roncevie is a lieu-dit that's a short distance from Griottes-Chambertin and Gevrey-Chambertin. In fact, it was part of Gevrey-Chambertin until half of the plots were declassified in 1964 - merely for political reasons. However, Arlaud grows his Pinot on 50 -year-old, horse-drawn vineyards and it screams "Gevrey!"
