Xarello is a grape native to Catalonia, most often used in the famous sparkling wine, Cava, but it is also growing in popularity as a varietal wine. With taut white stonefruit character, and some evidence of lees work on the round, smooth palate, this is a great wine with seafood, and an appealing alternative to an unoaked Chardonnay.
