A far cry from the thin and pale style of Barberas from the 70’s and 80’s, this red from Grasso delivers the goods ! Rich and quite structured, this lovely Barbera displays good extract and some aging potential (2 to 4 years). Field berry scents enhanced by a touch of vanilla. Medium bodied with good length, it should be perfect with Italian sausage and grilled pepper pasta.
