This amazing wine comes from a vineyard slowly dying to phyloxera. This disease devigorate the vines creating intensely low yields, and powerfully expressive flavors in the finished wine. All of this at barely 12%, which proves that Hirsch is making some of the most otherworldly wine in the world.
