Since its foundation in 1980 in Santenay, Vincent Girardin has become one of the most famous domains in Meursault. He began at the ripe age of 19 years old, and made his first wines from 5 acres of vineyards that he had inherited from his parents. His strong desire for success demanded him to create relationships with suppliers and growers- a novel practice at the time.
