This comes from a true master of Bordeaux varietals and the oldest and highest vineyard in the cool climate estate. It has an open and energetic aniseed-tinged bouquet that blossoms in the glass, hints of allspice and clove emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a harmonious, smooth entry and long finish.
