Dagueneau's approach, and one that continues to be followed by his son at the winery, was to produce wines that bring out the natural minerality of the soil and have, above all else, balance, harmony, and longevity. Rich apricot and peach notes are in evidence here, with nuances of caramel and citrus fruits. Amazing viscosity is supported by vibrant acidity too.
