A vibrant, absolutely immaculate Pinot Noir, this red Sancerre is focused on bright cherry fruit, rose petals, and hints of minerals and earth. For the Varennes du Clos rouge, the parcels come from warmer districts of Sancerre, but still with marginal sites: shallow topsoil over deep limestone/schist beds.
