In this version of nebbiolo, the wine takes its name by the territory of the province. The “costa bassa” (low coast) starts from the lower part of the valley to reach about 450 meters on the sea level. Here the climatic conditions make the skins of the grapes thinner, the result is great acid and soft tannins with bright red fruits.
