From Brack Mountain winemaker Daniel Fitzgerald, the Fable Pinot Noir is grown from benchland sites in Mendocino. Two thirds of the fruit was fermented de-stemmed in open-top fermenters, layered over the remaining third in the tank, which was left whole cluster. After a 5 day cool soak, the wine fermented on indigenous yeast, finishing afterward with an indigenous malolactic.
