Il Censo is a Sicilian estate that has been in the Gargano family for generations, but only recently rejuvenated with the help of famed winemaker Giampiero Bea. The Njuro (which means ‘black’ in the local dialect) is a dense, deep, and rich red wine made from the Perricone vine. Tannic but yielding in structure, the wine is loaded with black fruit, earth, and spice.
