Pax's young protegee Jaimee Montley's second vintage. I figured these wines would be "good" , but then after tasting, I was blown away. This Mondeause, which is a suitcase clone smuggled out of France by her and Rajj Parr is fantastic. Peppery and wild like Syrah, with intense iron and blood notes, but somewhat lighter on it's feet though. Only a few cases made it to Colorado and I have a feeling it's going to be harder and harder to get as the word gets out...
