Wine is deep red with a brilliant transparency. It has aromas of blackcurrant with powerful notes of leather, cigar box, cherries, dark chocolate, and a hint of coriander. The palate is layered with smooth tannins, flavors of red prunes, dark pepper and a fresh acidity. A long aftertaste of dark chocolate dominates the finish.
