The 2015 Charmes-Chambertin from Jeremy Seysses and the family is another beautiful wine in the making, with a bit more sappiness at the core than the stellar Combottes, but every bit as much soil inflection and breed. The bouquet delivers a lovely blend of sappy red and black cherries, woodsmoke, gamebird, nutskin, complex soil tones, vanillin oak and a smoky topnote.
