Today, the Hex vom Dasenstein vineyard produces some of Germany's best Pinot Noir/Spätburgunder. On the palate, this wine has notes of dark cherry fruit, plum and a smooth, tannic structure, with a touch of rich spice on the finish. Best enjoyed with chicken and mushroom risotto, hearty soups with cheesy toasts, venison stews, pot roasts, & chicken pot pie.
