Bruno Clair with the help of winemaker Philippe Brun, produces some of Burgundy’s purest examples, adopting an approach that involves back-breaking vineyard work and minimal intervention winemaking. From old vines purposely planted on poor soil, very fine clay, called " rabbit grounds ", the chardonnay brings fruity aromas whereas the pinot blanc brings roundness and meatiness.
