This whisky is matured in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels, which are hand made due to the delicate wood grain. It then begins a sea voyage from Osaka, Japan for up to three months allowing the whisky to ocean-mature. Extremely smooth with great complexity and a lovely balance of fruit, silky malt, and a touch of dark chocolate.
