2016 was a balanced year with an abundance of warm days for optimal ripeness, and a long growing season which added complexity. The wine was fermented on the skins for 10 days and was aged 24 months in Slavonian oak casks. Elegant and fragrant, this classic expression of Barbaresco is dry and full bodied, with complex flavors of cherry, plum, anise, and spicy oak.
