Grown from ArPePe’s terraced vineyards on the dizzyingly steep hillsides of Valtellina, a tiny wine zone in northern Italy’s Lombardy province. The old Nebbiolo vines (known here as Chiavennasca) yield a wine of subtle intensity, with black fruit tones, minerals, spice, and incense. A gorgeous and rare red.
